Doug Martin

Raised in Columbus, Georgia, Mr. Martin's passion for the construction industry has been a defining aspect of his entire professional journey. His academic pursuits at Auburn University, where he successfully earned both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Building Science, equipped him with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. Upon completing his studies, Mr. Martin made a conscious decision to bring his expertise back to his hometown of Columbus.

Upon his return, he embarked on a career path that saw him collaborating with some of the most esteemed architecture firms, contractors, and developers in the local scene. Through these collaborations, Mr. Martin honed his craft, gained invaluable experience, and established a reputation for excellence and innovation in the field. This rich tapestry of experiences and connections eventually culminated in the founding of his own firm, J. Douglas Martin & Associates.

With a deep-rooted commitment to quality, creativity, and client satisfaction, Mr. Martin's firm has become a trusted name in the industry. His unique blend of academic knowledge, hands-on experience, and a keen eye for design has set him apart from other firms in the area. Through his work, Mr. Martin hopes to shape the landscape of Columbus and beyond, leaving a lasting legacy of architectural excellence and innovation.

Mr. Martin and his family are actively engaged in ministry and are part of Christ Community Church.  He is actively involved in both international and local missionary work.
