MEET THE TEAM

A Columbus, Georgia native, Mr. Martin has worked in the construction industry for his entire career.  After completing his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Building Science degrees at Auburn University, he returned to Columbus to work with the most reputable local architecture firms, contractors and developers until starting J. Douglas Martin & Associates.
 

Mr. Martin and his family are actively involved in ministry and are members of Christ Community Church.  He serves on the church board and regularly participates in foreign and local mission efforts. 

Sid joined JDM in 2019 after completing his Bachelor of Business Administration at Columbus State University. Also a graduate of the CSU Center for Servant Leadership, he has a passion to see his community transformed around the values of servant leadership in the marketplace. Sid handles most day-to-day office and managerial functions in the company. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. 

Red has been in the construction industry for over 35 years. He has been an instrumental part of some of the largest residential developments and commercial projects in Alabama and Georgia in that time. He most recently taught construction at a local high school. Leveraging his vast experience and knowledge, Red is a hands-on project superintendent who operates jobsites with efficiency while managing the unique expectations that every project brings.
